When is the Inauguration taking place?

The Badger Boys State Inauguration Assembly takes place on Thursday, June 15, 2017. It starts at 7:30pm, and doors open to family members at 6:00pm, with a limit of four guests per Boys State citizen.

Where can I park?

If you are using a GPS or Google Maps, use the address of 550 Union Street, Ripon WI 54971. People with handicap needs will be able to park in the main lot, but due to the construction around Ripon College’s athletic center, we will also be directing you to two other lots.

Who is invited and how do I get a ticket?

We ask that only four family members per Boys State Citizen attend, and there are no tickets to get it. It’s on your honor!

When do the doors open, and is there reserved seating?

Doors open at 6:00pm and we will have seating available in the front few rows for special guests and for folks with handicap needs. If you have a son that has been elected to a state position, we will also seat you up front.

When would be a good time to see my son while I’m there?

There will be a parent and citizen reception, sponsored by the Badger Boys State Alumni Association, in the lobby of the Storzer/Wilmore Center immediately after the Inaugural Assembly. We ask that you connect with your son then as opposed to before the assembly.

How can I watch from home?

You can watch right from this page! Once we get closer to the event’s start time, we’ll post a YouTube live stream video on this page, which you can watch from the convenience of your home!
