The fourth day of Badger Boys State began with a lot of campaigning. Citizens who wanted to run for a state-level position needed many other citizens to give them a sticker as a sign of their support.
Citizens who were running for a county-level position were required to attend a candidate school to learn more about the position. Speakers from throughout the state came today to talk more about the positions, which they currently hold in the real world.
The citizens had another election today, this time voting on county-level positions. As they run for more positions and hear more speeches from their peers, the citizens are gaining more sense on what makes a good campaign speech and what qualifications are needed for every position.
Of course, the citizens were not too busy for recreation time. They were enjoying the sun by playing sports like basketball, football, ultimate frisbee and others. Here, citizens get into the action of the soccer game.
After dinner, the citizens broke up by party (nationalists and federalists) for the state party convention. At the convention, the parties developed their platforms and the candidates for state offices all gave a speech.
